Al Pace, of Canoe North Adventures, is an experienced canoe guide specializing in wilderness travel in the Yukon, Northwest Territories and Nunavut. His passion for canoeing remote northern waterways spans thirty years and thousands of miles of river travel. Join us as Al gives a presentation on the Canol Trail and Redstone River, NWT. The historic Canol Trail follows ancient aboriginal footpaths from Norman Wells to the Yukon Border through spectacular mountain valleys surrounded by dazzling peaks and breathtaking views. The Redstone River lies in obscurity north of the Nahanni River and is seldom paddled. This lightning fast river flowing out of the Mackenzie River is a superb white-water challenge and demands both respect and caution. Please call 519-455-6252 to register. No charge for admission. Donations of non-perishable food items to the London and Area Food bank are welcome.
