Join our Mailing List:
To join our email list and be notified of all Social Justice Club events taking place at Kings and to learn of opportunities within the London area at large, please e-mail the club at kings sjpclub@kucsc.com and tell us your name and email address.  The Social Justice Club will not give out your address and does not fill up your account.  We send an e-mail roughly once a week and if you would like to be removed then email us and we will do so without question.  For people that have spam/blocking programs, we advise that you either add us to your address book or confirm us as a sender.

Become a Member:
To become a member simply come to one of our meetings or events and purchase a membership for $5.  There is also a booth set up during Clubs Week (a part of Orientation in September) where people can join the club  All people are welcome and are encouraged to join.  Your membership fees go towards the club's yearly events and speakers and a membership provides you with free entry to Social Justice Club events.  For more information please email the club at
sjpclub@kucsc.com.

Become an Observer:
Everyone is welcome to come to Social Justice Club events.  Most speakers or meetings require non-members to pay $1 and there are rarely events that require people to have a membership - some events are free!  If you like to see what you think of the club before you sign up then just come to one of our events.  To learn about our events, join our Mailing List or keep up to date with this site.

Join one of our Committees:
All members are welcome to be a part of the SJP Club Committees. SJP Club Committees are made up of interested club members. We believe that involvement encompasses both helping in the planning of and participating in the event itself. Those who choose to be a part of a Committee have the guidance of our VP's of Event Coordination. They work hand in hand together in the planning and bringing together of events in the community. Each person involved adds something unique to the project and experience. It may be your skills, your personality, your support, your passion, and even your presence that makes all the difference in the end product. On such Committees all people are respected and listened to, we work on a consensus model, and thus, all decisions are made as a group. Everyone has an equal voice and an investment in the future of the club and the desire for social change.  We always love the help and encourage you to get involved at this level.  If you are unsure and would like to come to a meeting only as an observer then you are more than welcome to do so.  If you would like to be involved in one of our SJP Club Committees, then just e-mail the club and we will let you know further details.

Run for the Executive:
At the end of every academic year the Social Justice Club has elections for the following positions: President, VPs, Secretary, and Treasurer. Sometimes it isn't as clear cut as this. Depending on the structure and nature of the team one person may take on two roles, or there may be a need to add extra roles.  If you would like to run for such a position then please e-mail
the club as to when elections will be held or better yet, come to a Committee meeting and see how we operate.  Anyone running for a position on the Executive must be a member and the club and the President must be a student at King's College.
