'Sharing expression of film under the auspices of Canadians for Action on Climate Change. Cinema Politica London strives to champion alternative media through the art of documentary film.

We aim to engage our community with social and environmental issues globally, nationally and locally. We search for the best documentary art form. Cinema Politica London screens new films on current issues or on issues that continue to be relevant. Cinema Politica London looks at forces that affect the realities of people around the world. Documentary films give us the context in which we can examine globalization and individual struggles as well as the pursuit of justice as they impact and change the social construction of reality. Perceptions of reality may be limited or enlarged by nature and by spirit but they are manipulated by and for society. Cinema Politica London takes you to specific communities around the world, immerse you in their realities and awaken your understanding of change.  We have hundreds of films available at our fingertips. Cinema Politica is committed to supporting alternative, independent, and radical political film and video and the artists who dare to devote time, passion and resources to telling stories from the margins. Stories that confront and challenge convention and that show solidarity with those who are oppressed, those who struggle, and those who are never seen or heard in the mainstream media.

Canadians for Action on Climate Change is a developing non-profit NGO of activists, academia and physicians focusing on climate change, true cost economy and relocalization. Our organization seeks to provide news, reports and analysis to inform, educate and develop environmental policies for all levels of government in Canada.  We are committed to being part of an international movement against capitalist destruction of our shared environment.  Our current economy is unsustainable and an unethical catalyst to ever increasing global warming. This model assumes endless growth and limitless potential wealth that completely disregards the fact that the earth’s life support capacity is finite.  We respect the integrity, resilience, and beauty of the common wealth of all life as the foundation for a new sustainable economic model for our finite planet that will benefit generations to come.
